ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Laura, Certified Life and Mindset Coach for women and  passionate hiker and adventurer.

I’ve taken a lot of paths in life, from moving across the country (twice), to leaving my 15-year career as a hairstylist to become a life coach, to thru-hiking the 485-mile Colorado Trail.

I've also been stopped in my tracks by fear, discouraged by failure and crippled by anxiety. I've given up on myself as many times as I've taken the leap toward the life I want.

When I thru-hiked the Colorado Trail in 2021, I found myself wondering why I was able to push myself to grow in some areas of my life, but held back by insecurity in other parts.

The key, I discovered, was in my mindset—not a personality flaw or lack of ability, but simply the way I was thinking.

That realization was a game changer.

By cultivating an ADVENTURE MINDSET, I was able to release the social anxiety that had plagued me for years, let go of a career path that was 'good enough' and explore a path that felt more aligned with my values. Finally, I was able to feel like the confident, adventurous woman I knew myself to be on the trail, in every aspect of my life.

Now, I'm here to guide you on your journey to self-discovery and empowerment. Together, we'll explore the trails of both the wilderness and your inner landscape, learning the practical skills and uncovering the mindset shifts needed to create the life you've always dreamed of.

Through mindset coaching, community building, and a little Trail Magic, I’m here to help you:

  • Feel adventurous, empowered and confident while on a trail and in your off-trail life.

  • Achieve ANY goal you set for yourself, and actually enjoy the process

  • Approach your whole life as if it were an exciting adventure

I want to see you succeed! I want to see you do wild, wonderful, and adventurous things. . . And I’m here to help arm you with the tools and mindset you need to achieve them.

A little bit more about Me. . .

  3. Despite being an introvert at heart, I love to listen, learn about other women, and engage in deep, thought-provoking conversations.

  4. I solo thru-hiked all 485 miles of the Colorado Trail in the summer of 2021.

  6. I also have two big dogs, Booker (my rottie-mix) and Monster (the sweetest black lab). They both enjoy nature walks as long as they don’t extend beyond 3 miles.

Take a Walk on the Wild Side

The Wild Woman Community is about women supporting women. I’m here to empower women to learn from, grow from, and support one another through Trail Magic hikes and walks, workshops and Community Connection calls. My role is to support the connections—with one another and with nature—that are built along the way.

The Wild Woman Community is designed as your personal space to express your goals, desires, and obstacles in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I’ll guide you through delving into the unexplored wilderness of your own mind.

Come as you are, take what you need, and get ready to make wild strides.
